We're very proud of this place and the people that are part of it - NKOTBfans has been and will continue to be a great little site for fans to chat, and feel welcomed into the Blockhead community, whether you're a new or old fan.
Everyone is welcome here, but we do have expectations of our members, so it's comfortable for all. As such, we ask all members to follow these guidelines... please familiarise yourselves with the rules because ignorance of them isn't an excuse to break them.1. Please respect others' right to their opinions, whether you believe it to be right or wrong. If someone is attacking you, rather than retaliating, please report this to the moderators. Attacking/harassing other members will not be tolerated and the offending member(s) may be removed without hesitation - if you retaliate, this may include you.
2. Donnie, Danny, Joe, Jon and Jordan 's private lives are off-limits. This includes discussion of their partners/wives, kids, family and friends etc or posting photos, videos etc, even if the guys are in the shot.
3. When starting a new topic, please look for a post like yours first. This is really important to keep the board easy to navigate. Check the appropriate category - you may need to go back a few pages. Please check that you are posting in the relevant section (eg posts about solo shows in the relevant person’s section) and make the title of the post as self-explanatory as possible.
4. Please keep discussions, postings, pages etc clean and free of adult-themed content and profanities - this includes innuendo, fan fiction and abbreviated/edited profanities. If someone under the age of 16 shouldn't be reading it, it shouldn't be posted.
5. No transactions or advertising of any kind – whether selling, buying, trading, giving away, fundraising etc. Please leave it to official channels such as ebay or reputable outlets. The only exception is concert, party or cruise tickets bought via an official channel - these must be at face value, posted in the appropriate section and removed after sale or the event. However, please note, the site owners and moderators take no responsibility for any deals done here and cannot help if things go wrong.
6. Please do not spam the board, whether through advertising, multiple discussions/posts, chain letters etc.
7. Only NKOTB-related links may be posted, unless an appropriate topic in 'Off Topic'. All others will be removed.
8. Please do not post any personal information, including address, phone numbers or e-mail address.
9. No illegal activity. You face an immediate ban if you link to download or file sharing sites, or request/send other members copyrighted material.
10. If you take a photo or video from the site which others have posted, please ask permission before you use it and give credit if you do. Photos and videos are copyright of the original owner.
11. Please do not create 'clubs' or 'groups' within this community. In our experience, we find this promotes exclusivity.
12. Photo sizes should be kept to a minimum - signatures should be less than 125 pixels (h) x 600 pixels (w), and images should be less than 200K. Any posted larger than this may be removed.
13. Please remember this is a fan-owned and run site, and membership of this board is a privilege not a right. These rules are not exhaustive and we reserve the right to remove anything or anyone if we feel there is a reason. We often get questions on what constitutes are warning or dismissal, so easily put, if you break one of the milder rules you may just get a warning. If however your behaviour is more extreme, we may choose to revoke your membership without hestitation or warning. If you are unsure whether something you would like to post might break the rules, please message one of the moderators first to ask.
14.Lastly, if you see something you think should be removed before we do, please report the issue and we'll consider it.
